I really did not want
to be known as a knowledgeable person about bed bugs, but
dealing with them you must.
Here’s my story! It
was not me who had the bed bugs but my son and his family.
Living close by them, they came for help upon discovering a few
bugs on their mattress when vacuuming and changing the sheets.
They bottled up 2 of
these and came over. They also had some small rice color and
size which looked like eggs.
I had never seen these
bugs before so i headed over to the computer to do what I do
best. Research.
I laughingly told the
kids they could be bed bugs. They had to go shopping so I
started my research.
I was amazed to even
find out bed bugs were back. As a kid I heard stories but we
never had them. I was in shock and when I saw a picture I
cringed. They had bed bugs. My son wife and his kids were living
in a home they rented from me that had bed bugs.
In my research i came
across many horror stories and thought they are only a tiny bug,
they can't be that hard to get rid of. Boy was I wrong. I
searched for information, called pest control companies and
tried to get informed but there is a lot of conflicting
information out there.
Some said you could do
it yourself some said Pest control companies is the only way to
go and some say nothing works.
So I understand the
confusion. There are even different picture of what they look
like so confirm bed bug is not easy either.
That is why I decided
to write a comprehensive bed bug book, so the average individual
would have the knowledge they needed to address a bed bug
infestation.
